About Us
Apple Tree offers a quality learning environment based on Montessori Education in Mission Viejo. The theories and practices of Dr. Maria Montessori, revolutionized European educational philosophy by giving children the freedom to explore a variety of challenging materials and concepts as soon as they were capable of understanding. Our five classrooms offer education for children from 18 months through preschool. Each age group cultivates the potential of the child in a nurturing, happy, and creative environment.
All of our primary teachers are Montessori qualified with a passion to lead children through their cognitive development. Montessori believed that the first six years of life were the most important for the development of the human potential. We feel these philosophies still hold true today.
Children work and play in an environment that includes time for silence and reflection, cultivating awe and wonder, respecting nature, caring for the earth, understanding and accepting of others and fostering virtues such as love, peacefulness, kindness, and compassion.
